JeeThe graffiti writer Jee 2, now known as James Top, is a founding member of The Odd Partners (TOP), one of the most prolific writing crews in New York City graffiti history.

True legends, The Odd Partners (TOP) were one of the only crews in New York city that “kinged” every subway train line, dominating the IND, BMT and IRT lines. Their clean block letters defined bombing standards for two letter throw-ups for generations of writers.

Inspired by his childhood friend Tee, he took the name Jee 2 and created this clean letter piece in 1976. Today, James Top works as a muralist and a youth mentor for New York City schools, charities and community based organizations.
His artwork is a part of the permanent collection of The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture in Harlem, a research unit of The New York Public Library that is recognized as one of the leading archival institutions of art, history and culture of the African diaspora.
